Finely Got My Matag Back!

I had a Maytag washer and dryer combo for years. When it died after about 12 years we made a big mistake. Our niece talked to us about a brand she had and we thought we would try it. After two years of this brand I had enough. I was always waiting on the dryer. It took too long to dry (sometimes 15-20 minutes longer than my previous Maytag). Frustrating!! We replaced it with Maytag and laundry does not take so long to complete. Thank you Maytag!

This received high reviews online. Salesperson was a former Maytag employee and could vouch for the quality of the Maytag products. Lucky me, I got the 2018 model in Feb 2019, and am thrilled with both the dryer and washer. Waiting to try out the steam option. Love it and the cute sounds it makes.

This dryer works great. The only issues I have is that the seal on the door does leak. (Hoping that it was just installed wrong.) I repositioned the seal and will wait until another load to see if it worked. Not a big deal as I will just have it fixed if it continues to leak.

The dryer doesn't dry! Had service out a told NOT to use any of the various cycles as they won't dry! Told to only use time dry. We bought this two weeks ago and like the washer overall. We bought one of the first front loaders 15 years ago and appreciate the more modern features of the Maytag. There is one problem though. We have 3 dogs, one of which sheds a lot, I mean a lot! I washed three small throw rugs and then put the washer through the clean cycle. Later my wife asked me if I had used the washer and showed me a small palm full of dog hair that survived the two cycles. This never happened with the old one. How do we clean the hair out of the machine?

Does a good job for the most part!

I have used this for over a week now. The drying cycle doesn't always seem to sense the moisture as well as my prior unit. Some clothes come out a little damp in places after the normal cycle. Otherwise the machine does a good job. I may have to try some other cycles and see if it works better. Lots of features with the steam and we love the unit so far. Just have to play with the controls and find what works the best then we can set up the my cycle. That will be nice.

Many New Helpful Features!

My sixteen years old Maytag Neptune washer expired but the dryer was still doing a good job so I debated not replacing it. I'm glad that I did because the new dryer is not only larger but you can select exactly the right temperature for each load. It reminds you to clean the lint trap, will add moisture to prevent static, and it will remember the setting you use most frequently. A very satisfying purchase.

I have been using my new Maytag dryer for two weeks. The clothes dry much more quickly than. they did in my old dryer because of the larger capacity. It is relatively quiet and the audible signal that the clothes are dry allows me to take out the clothes before they wrinkle. The reminder to check the lint screen is helpful. I have not used all of the features yet but i think the powerdry and refresh cycles will come in handy. The added pedestal that I purchased makes the clothing easy to load and unload; otherwise, it would have been uncomfortably low for me.

Perfect for casual wear and cottons!!

I purchased about a month ago, love the steam feature, because I seem to always be late getting things out of the dryer. So this feature saved me like no other. Out here on a ranch, we have heavy jeans, coats etc and the power dry is perfect for me
