The machine works great - and actually is larger than the washer that I™™ve had for around 20 years. The only thing I don™™t like about it is if I open the lip after starting it, I have to press a button for it to resume.

Very easy to use and quiet during operation. The washer has a large capacity and keeps itself clean.
The dryer works very well and drys the clothes completely.

The new washer wouldn't move past the fill cycle. I called the store and they sent me a new one of the same model. It also would not move past the fill cycle. I returned that washer and decided that I needed to do some research before I bought another lemon. I was very disappointed. I thought that because it had knobs and one push button, it would be a simple and reliable machine. It's clearly designed to look that way.

I'd like my new purchase so far , even though i've only done about four loads of wash in it , I am quite happy with it so far. The only problem I had with it was the installation. The drain hose was way too short to reach my outside drain port. I had to purchase some hose and a connector to make it long enough to reach other than that I have had no problem.

A strong machine, but can not control the washing cycle water level to low or mid or large load.
I often need to add water manually before the cycle start. It was never perfect for me, they could be too much water or too little water! Otherwise, it is a good machine!

I bought this washer because our old one stopped spinning correctly. This on had an agitator, like or old one, larger capacity and looked like it was going to be a good washer. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! This washer has auto sensing water capacity, its broke, itnwill not put enough water in the tub!
The agitator doesn't agitate correctly, it slow walks through the whole wash like your kids being told they have to eat their vegetables, then somewhere in the middle of the cycle it fast agitates for about 30-60 seconds like that same kid being told they can't have dessert unless they eat said vegetables.... and then drains the water.
I cant adjust the water! Ugh!

I should have known that when a computer is involved, that whoever programmed the thing thinks they know what i want and how i want it, well.... they're wrong! I think this is possible the worst washer EVER! Oh, did i mention that doesn't even get my clothes clean?!! You'd think that would be a prerequisite?!! Well, it doesn't even do that! It has ONE job! It has failed miserably.
Do i recommend this washer? ABSOLUTELY NOT! 1 out of 10 stars and that is because it spins the absolute dog mess out of my clothes, the only thing my previous washer didn't do so, i guess it has that going for it.

Ya know, its taken me a while to figure out how to respond to your email and suggestions. The main point is, I shouldn't have to do any of the things you suggested to get my clothes clean. I should be able to stick my clothes in the washing machine, on any cycle any way I want (just like I have been doing for 45 year) and the clothes get clean. You made a washing machine that doesn't wash clothes! Who cares about efficiency and water savings if it doesn't do what it says it's going to do, which is clean clothes. All the programming and efficiency in the world will not fix a washing machine that doesn 't wash your clothes! It gets them wet, and then it drains the water. You missed the mark, plain and simple.

Good luck, and I hope that you can bring the maytag name back to the high standards it used to be and make other people happy. But you're dead to me.

from the beginning, I hated my no-agitator whirlpool washing machine, but I didn™™t know how much I hated it until I got a new Maytag agitator machine! My clothes are cleaner than they™™ve been in 10 years! I hope this machine holds out because I really like it so far

Sensing to start rarely starts as instructions advise

Good capacity
Can't figure out why the sensing fills with so little water. Surely it needs more. Also, there is an excessive amount of vibration in the spin cycle.
Seems a little noisy and causes water hammer when filling. My last Maytag washer filled quietly..

I am disappointed in the water level available. Also dislike adding detergent directly on dry clothes instead of water and detergent, then clothes. I also needed a manual, but your website made it impossible to view. Nothing happened after going thru all the steps multiple times times. I would not recommend Maytag to others. I still want to be able to view a manual. Why make it so difficult. Include one at time of purchase.

WARNING: DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER ! ... You just as well wash your laundry by hand .... Washer will not fill with enough water to even wash the clothes to get stains and dirt out. I have to add extra water with a 5 gallon bucket just to get the clothes fully wet and free flowing so the clothes can wash... When washer drains, all dirt and grit that had been washed off the clothes is stopped and stays in bottom of washer and sticks to the rubber pieces at bottom of washer even after it has done it's final spin .... HERE'S A TIP MAYTAG --- Put bigger holes in the wash tub so all dirt can flow out of tub and don't put rubber pieces at bottom of tub and put a selection button on the machine for people to change the water depth that they want to use ( For example: extra small, small, medium, large and extra large).

The washer does the job well, but it™™ll likely be a long time before I figure out how all of the settings will alter or improve my wash. The washer is noisy during the wash cycle, but this seems to be normal. I would likely have purchased one with fewer settings and less noisy given a redo. Generally speaking, no significant complaints.

The washing machine has a large tub, which is good, but I don't think that it completely fills up with water like my previous one did. When I use fabric softener I have to put it where it goes through the rinse cycle twice and even after that, some items of clothing still have residue on them. I don't like that at all! It takes twice as long to wash a load of laundry than my previous washing machine did! I guess that all of the new washing machines work like this one does, now. I truly wish that my previous washing machine hadn't stopped working. I would much rather use it! I am still trying to get used to this new one.

The capacity of the washer is the largest I have seen. It easily handles both small and large loads. I always use the double rinse because soap residue in clothes makes me itch; the washer thoroughly rinses clothes with its double-rinse feature. Corrosion is not yet a concern because I have not had the machine long enough for it to be an issue. The sensing feature makes it easy to handle water levels ... just let the washer decide how much to fill the tub. When the machine spins the clothes there is some vibration, but nothing excessive. Thus far the machine's features make washing clothes an easy task.

Decrease in quality in compatison to my previous Maytag washer . Lighter gauge metal in construction. Switches give the impression of flimsy construction. Performance washing, rinsing and such are good. I ve only had had it for four months, so these are my initial impressions.

We purchased this washer because our laundry room was very shallow, and the depth of this washer is a little less than most. Unfortunately, the control panel was faulty and its being replaced under warranty tomorrow. Other than that, it works very smoothly.

Only used the new machine twice so far. It washes ,rinses fine. Has nice big tub with plenty of room. The vibration is minimal. Really like the Maytag I purchased a Maytag oven couple years ago and no complaints. The only negative thing I have about the machine is too slow. Takes about 30 to 40 minutes to do a load of clothes. My old machine took about half that. To sum it up I am pleased with the purchase and hope it is reliable as Maytag is known to be.
