We are enjoying our new appliance. We have no complaints about its cooking abilities. One thing that is concerning is the stove top knows sensitivity. On many occasions myself or a family member including my six year old son have been walking by to get something not involved with the stove, bumped know and our so slightly turned and lit. Luckily the clicking of it lighting is loud and we can respond quickly but if my younger children were to bump the know they would be unsure how to turn it off and that could be dangerous.

I am mostly pleased with this range. I enjoy having the air fry option on the oven, though I don't know how it compares to a dedicated air fryer. The oven bakes well, and no complaints there. I also like that it lets me know the current temperature while preheating. The reason for taking off 1 star is the burners on top. There is not enough control over the size of the flame, particularly in the large burners. It lacks the ability to lower the flame to a simmer level, which can be problematic when using multiple burners. I contacted Customer Service to see if any type of adjustment could be made, but was told that there isn't. If not for that, the stove would be great.

My new range is great. I really enjoy the air frying feature that is very quick and efficient. We've baked cupcakes, cakes and dinner in the regular bake setting so far which seems to have very even heating. Preheating is faster than my old oven. We chose this model due to the five burners and the option to add our own cast iron griddle to the middle instead of some models have the aluminum griddle built in.

So far we love this stove. The burners work great. The oven preheats very quickly. The air bake function helps with even airflow when baking multiple things. Baked 2 pizzas last night with no need to switch racks mid bake. The biggest draw back so far is the design of the top makes it harder to clean up. With the way the edges are raised and the front creating a lip you can™™t sweep food up and over the edge like most I have had before. Also the large vent on the cook surface makes it inevitable that food will fall in it. It™™s like a furnace floor vent without the register on it.

Blue protective tape hard to remove

Just bought a new stove, Model: WFGS5030RZ. The blue tape you use to protect the stainless was very difficult to remove (see photos). It took me around two hours. Please tell whoever is responsible for the type of blue tape applied to look for an easier removeable adhesive. I told the Best Buy workers that I would remove mine because it was taking so long and I did not want them wasting their time. I had to use a plastic edge tool to painstakingly remove the tape. It™™s ridiculous that this was even sent out because it causes so much frustration. I look forward to using the air fryer though. Just wish Whirlpool could have included a recipe book or at least an instruction booklet on how to use the air fryer. That™™s my feedback. Hope you can immediately do something with it.

Bought this 2mos ago. Still trying to get used to it. The burners are too strong power wise for a small galley kitchen. 18k/12k/15k/5k/10k. The strongest one is so hot it literally makes my microwave door handle too hot too touch. Always shifting pots and pans around to get just the right power/simmer going. Didn™™t realize this range is NOT power outage capable. No longer can cook on it by manually lighting. Loud popping sound when oven turned on and needs to light to reach temp- more noticeable when using air fry feature. I loved the recess burners and grates offering edge to edge cooking. Except burners Placed too close to edge making large pot handles hit items on countertop next to them. Burners are a bit loose. Though they are sealed. The middle oval burner is also a bit loose. The back upright digital controls are great but it™™s such a large high back piece. Can™™t even reach over to clean backsplash without accidentally turning on burners. Takes forever to clean up around burners. Purchased customized liners to eliminate some of this extra work. The airflow opening for oven is located behind oval burner and opening is so large ,afraid of getting food etc. into it. The control knobs sit forward on a large platform that just seems too obstructive. I should have done more research and retailor should have guided more on power of burners in a small kitchen. Regret getting rid of my old Amana which had some wear and tear but overall easy to clean, burners really sealed, broiler wasn™™t an electrical element, real flames. But was converting all my appliances to stainless to upgrade kitchen. All of the above issues were through my own fault for not doing full research and realizing how uncomfortable this range is to maneuver around. Always expected Whirlpool to be of excellent quality/value but not this time.

I™™ve had my range for a month. I™™ve had to have a 2 service calls. The first call was to balance the stove; completed. The second call was to adjust the range drawer and evaluate the flames. The drawer was adjusted. The flames are more Orange than Blue. We have gas not propane. I also had to glue a small corner piece back on that came off during installation. Sad-brand new appliance!

I bought this range earlier this month and I am loving the features that it has! I havent tried them all yet, but the air frying feature worked great. As with my other appliances, I have always replaced them with a Whirlpool product. And my old appliances were Whirlpool products that have lasted years. My old range was from 1985, so I stand by Whirlpool and they're appliances. In the future, I will replace my 1997 refridgerator with a Whirlpool one also! And I still have my 1982 Whirlpool dryer. When you know quality that lasts, you know which brand to go with!

The grates on the top of the stove are wonderful. They are heavy and not cheaply made. The pots and pans stay on steady when cooking. I looked at other stoves that had cheap grates and did not look like they would support a heavy pot when cooking.

The range was delivered and installed three weeks ago. Use of the burners and oven has been satisfactory--so far. Very happy with grate design, but the burner knobs' placement seems backward. I suggest two improvements: A larger touch pad display screen for better visibility; and use of number keys instead of up/down arrows to set function/time/temp. And please provide a PRINTED Control Guide with the product! I had to go online to print the 9 pages in English.

I've had my new Whirlpool range for a little ocer a week and now that the burner flames are turned down, I love it! The burners originally burned medium to high, no low, but my husband adjusted the gas flow and now I can cook on low. I have a grate that rocks a bit but nothing extreme. Its great! Whirlpool is not what it used to be! Stove is cheaply made, oven does not work properly. When we called for service we were told we had to calibrate the oven first or we would be charged a service fee. We had to go on YouTube to try to recalibrate it! It™™s still not working!!

Had this range for about a month now and my only complaint would be having the smaller burner in the back right section, it's nice, however sometimes limits where you can put a larger pan/pot.

I think the oven temperature is not correct, it took almost 2 hours to Air Bake 2 Chicken breasts to 165 Degrees

Mixed feelings on this range, my 1st gas range. Love how it cooks, especially the center double burner with a cast iron griddle. Hugely upset with the front trim piece with blue protective film that I cannot remove. I have spent numerous 20 minute sessions scrapping.. still only halfway through after 8 weeks. Next, need a better instruction guide on how to use the oven. I had to go hunt for what info I have and it's not complete .

It came with no owner™™s manual I had to stay on the phone a long period of time to talk to a real person. It came with only 1 oven rack. The rack was was supposed to arrive yesterday but it didn™™t. Tracking shows that it™™s not even on the way. The sales associate at Lowes didn™™t know much about the range.

Console is over the range and oven exhaust and can be hard to reach while cooking on the range. Maximum temperature for the broiler is 500; we would like to go to 525 or 550 for roasting red peppers. Storage drawer falls off tracks and is difficult to close if not properly aligned. Oven/broiler makes popping sounds; presumably maintaining temperature setting. Looks like a high-end range/oven but isn™™t ergonomic.

bought this a while back, after using it. Here's what I observed, #1. don't like the way the knobs work, my old one you had to push the knob in to ignite, this one no, I have leaned against the stove and have accidentally turned those ignitors on. My concern would be some young child play with those knobs and turn fire on. #2 have turned the flames down as far as they can go, but still too hot, can't 'simmer/keep warn' my food. #3 like the cast iron (even if heavy) but don't like the way it was designed--grates too far apart and don't understand the need for the gaps, we are a small family and don't always use big pans, I have had some of my pans kind of tip over in the gaps. It seems to bake really well--very pleased with that, and when I am in a hurry (not often) then the cooking fast is a blessing

Stove came with our new home purchase and love it for the most part. What we didn™™t love was the interior oven glass exploding while we were in the middle of cooking dinner. What I™™ve loved even less than that is WPs customer service on the issue. 3 weeks with no working stove because of a manufacture defect is crazy. If the part is that far in back order you should looking at faster ways the make the customer whole.
