We bought this about 6 weeks ago.It fit in our small space very well.LED lighting is good. Temp control seems good. Storage is great for this size of unit.Ice maker is adequate but dispenser seldom seems to get all of the cubes in the glass. We have become more accustomed to it.

The interior is cheap plastic drawers n shelves that are so philmsy when opening the drawers they do not operate proper. Also the water/ice unit is frustrating to operate.

This Refrigerator does OK. Keeps things cool on the right side (as you face it) and frozen on the left. The doors look like they are heavily constructed. They do show every finger print, smudge and water drip. The water dispenser only gives you 50 degree water IF the compressor is running, other times it closer to sixty, so if you like cold water, add ice. No adjustment on that, it is what it is. Drip tray under water dispenser is very small, if you use the water dispenser a lot you will be cleaning this out about every other day. You almost always get extra water drops after removing your water glass. NOT ENERGY STAR Rated. All the advertisements on the web show that it is, IT IS NOT (Confirmed with Whirlpool) ! if your local power company offers a rebate, this refrigerator will not get you one ( We tried and got shot down ). If you like your Milk cold, you will need to store it on the top shelve, not the door, by the time you get the door shelves cold enough for Milk your freezing stuff in the back of the refrigerator. Ice system is very loud during operations. So will this do the job yes, will it cost you more to run, yes. Will it keep your stuff cold, depends on where you put it in the refrigerator. Our previous refrigerator died, so this purchase was based on availability. Wished we had more time to research. If you want something better engineered, and I believe those refrigerators are out there, do your homework and be prepared to spend some more money. I do not believe this was worth what was paid but we will have to live with it until it dies.

The temp controls are working well. The only problem I have is that I have yet to get ice from it without some ice going on the floor. Could use a little more room to get a glass in there nicely.

i bought this a month ago and am pleased with most features and how it works. Ice dispenser is very noisy and hesitates. There should be a top rack in the freezer. The freezer shelves allow items to fall in the back. A little noisy when it runs.Drawers in refrigerator are flimsy.

This is a replacement for a Whirlpool we purchased in 1998. Obviously, the newer model has many upgrades, better interior lighting and a much improved ice/water dispenser. Had a little trouble with it at first, but now it is mastered, and I cannot imagine how one could work better or easier. A lot of product for the money, and if it lasts 18 years as the previous one did, wow.

This replaces a Whirlpool Refrigerator we purchased in 1998. Reason for replacing was the ice maker and water dispenser failed to work.Everything about this model is better - the interior lighting - interior layout. The only complaint, and a minor one, is we had a little trouble learning the best way to use the water/ice dispenser. That is putting the glass in the proper position to receive the water. A small complaint, but we have worked it out.Overall, good arrangement of shelves, great interior lighting. A great buy.

I bought it sight unseen, on spec only. The refrigerator section could do with 1 more shelf, and 1 less drawer. The freezer section holds considerably less than I thought it would, which may be a problem. The unit is very nice looking, quiet, and is working well.

This product is made up cheap. Not near as nice as my last Whirlpool refrigerator. The freezer side has the worst design for the shelves I've ever seen. Not solid as they should be so your frozen foods won't fall through to the next shelf but has racks which even small ice cream cups can't even stand up on. They fall over.Whoever designed the ice-maker for this product really made a mess of it. The ice has shot out of the maker onto the floor while I was trying to put things into the freezer. Condensation (ice crystals) form on the basket which holds the ice and when I have dumped the basket there is ice crystals all under it and on the working part of the ice chopper..... really not what I expected at all....

refrig was delivered on time. they were very helpful and explained alot...took time to make sure everything in working order before left. The refrig itself is wonderful...it fit perfectly where we needed it to be. Runs smoothly. Love the way it looks. We have had it for 3 weeks now. The only thing I have found that it annoying is if pull too hard on handle when opening the door causes the refrig to move forward. They put two tiny "stops" in front of the wheels, but that doesn't really help much.

This is the first refrigerator I have purchased and I am glad I chose a Whirlpool .Being pleased with my Whirlpool stove and microwave, I went right to Whirlpool when looking for a refrigerator. We have a smaller defined space for this appliance and Whirlpool fit the bill! None of the other brands I looked at had this size with a water and ice dispenser on the outside. The LED lighting is an added plus. It makes everything in the refrigerator look brighter and inviting. Thanks Whirlpool!

Bought to replace 25 year old GE side by side. Needed a max height of 66.25 inches, there were 2 choices with water /ice maker. We chose this unit as Whirlpool has been a trusted appliance maker forever, the reviews were good & the shelving is adjustable. The other choice was LG, reviews stated that parts may be hard to get & limited adjustability on shelves although it was slightly more energy efficient. I think we made the right choice and after giving the water temp 2 days to get right temp everything is working as advertised. I would suggest they add ability to level rear wheels.

We bought this side-by-side refrigerator recently to replace an old top-over-bottom fridge with an ice maker that didn't work. The set-up was quick and easy and hooking up the ice maker was a snap! The cool-down was much quicker than the instructions suggested and we were able to put our food in both the fridge and freezer compartments right away. We had ice within a couple of hours. VERY happy with my Whirlpool side-by-side and wouldn't hesitate to buy again!

I bought this refrigerator about 3 weeks ago. I am very pleased with the LED lighting, options on shelf placement and capacity of the door shelves. I am very pleased that we were able to find any refrigerator that fit our limited space. I was happy that it turned out to be a Whirlpool. My only negative comment is that the freezer's racks have too wide of a spacing between the spindles. Most frozen food boxes cannot be placed on their sides because they fall through the spindles.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago. So far I'm happy with the purchase. It's a little smaller than I had anticipated, but I didn't have much room anyway. This had the dimensions I needed to fit in the space where the old refrigerator was. Although a little smaller than the old one, it will do just fine. We have a chest freezer for long term storage items so freezer space is not an issue. Speaking of freezer, the ice "cubes" are a little smaller than the old fridge but they are fine for us. The amount of ice it holds is a little disappointing though. I don't really see it being a problem, but it seems a little slow in making them. The ice dispenser is a little noisy. Also the water dispenser is oddly facing towards the front of the door making it difficult to actually get water in the cup. You have to use your hand to operate the water flow in order to keep the cup under the stream.All in all it keeps things really cold in the fridge on the recommended setting. My infrared thermometer shows it around 38-39F. I would would likely purchase again, but might consider a slightly bigger one if I could make it fit. I gave it 4 stars due to the issues I noted above with the water dispenser and small ice tray.

This was a replacement unit for a 13 year old similar Whirlpool Conquest whose "start relay overload" malfunctioned and blew pins off the compressor, causing much electrical smoke. Corporate safety division gave us 20% off replacement costs =$1279.00 we paid. Could have been really bad had I not been home to shut off power immediately.New unit noisier. Water dispenser not as good. Must hold smaller glasses forward and use two hands. (Lots of ice and water on floor as we learn) Missing top shelf in freezer (holes in unit where shelf could be). Took 5.5 weeks to deliver.

I like how well lit up it is. I bought it because of the ice maker in the door, It gave me a little more room in the freezer. It has a clean look to it with all the lightning, even though it is full of food. The only thing is that every once in a while an ice cube will fall out of the dispenser.

We got this unit a few weeks ago when our old fridge gave up the ghost and due to its age, wasn't worth repairing. Thus far, we're extremely pleased with it. It looks great in stainless and has features we were not sure we'd be able to get (for example, ice/water dispenser) due to spatial limitations in our small kitchen. OK...I still have to run the water line for that one but from our experience thus far, I don't expect problems. We needed some minor factory service on it. One of the side panels in the freezer was damaged, apparently by a power tool during installation at the factory...Yeah, someone was a little careless and sloppy. Whirlpool sent a tech to the house pretty expeditiously and he ordered the part and replaced it in no time....End of issue.Yeah, I would have preferred a larger unit, say 26/28 cubic feet but for those of you with spatial considerations like us, this worked out ideally. Oh, and the temperature controls are spot on. Set halfway, per recomendations, beverages are ice cold and stuff in the freezer is like a rock.

Purchased a little over a month ago and we are quite happy with the unit. We have always purchased Whirlpool products since marrying in 1976. Washing machine, clothes dryer, fridge (first in 1976) and the new one replaced it. Old one still worked great, but we updated our kitchen. Old one is in garage and being used. Whirlpool...best bang for the Buck in my book.

We had a horrible experience.... receiving, after a 6 week wait, a defective refrigerator. Two Geek Squad visits later, it was determined that there was a manufacturing error and the right side was not receiving cold air from the freezer part. Four months from our original purchase, we finally had a satisfactory replacement. Then we were told by Whirlpool that they would NOT reimburse us for the >$50 in spoiled food, so we said we would never purchase another Whirlpool appliance, since you do NOT stand behind the quality of your product. IF I were selected for another appliance, I need a new microwave.
